“Science and education” – editorial policy of the scientific and practical journal

Basic provisions

scientific and practical journal “Science and Education” – a periodical of the West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University named after Zhangir Khan of the Education and Science Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The journal is published quarterly, articles are published in Kazakh, Russian and English. The journal publishes scientific articles on topical issues of fundamental and applied research in the field of agricultural, veterinary, biological, technical, economic and social sciences. The magazine is registered with the Ministry of Culture, Information and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan – No. 6132-Zh. dated June 15, 2005. – International periodical press center ISSN-2305-9397. A subscription to the collection can be obtained in the newspaper and magazine catalogs of Kazpost JSC (index 76316). The founder and owner is the Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University.

Functional purpose of the journal

A wide circle of the scientific community, including at the international level, is the exchange of information on the results of scientific research, familiarization of readers with the best practices in the world.

Тhematic focus of the journal

The journal publishes scientific articles on topical issues of fundamental and applied research in the field of agricultural veterinary, biological, technical, economic and social sciences.

Рeriodicity of the journal issue

It is published in a circulation of at least 500 copies 4 times a year, quarterly.

Publishing conditions for authors

Scientific, technical and production articles planned for publication in our journal are considered unilaterally and pass the editorial board. In case of a positive conclusion, the material in the queue for publication is placed in the “portfolio” of the editorial office. The speed of publication depends on the relevance of the material and the completeness of the editorial’s portfolio on this topic. At the same time, by order of the Chairman of the KKSON MES RK dated 12.06.2013, No. 943, one of the conditions for including the journal in the list of publications recommended by the committee for publishing the main results of scientific activity is the availability of publications in foreign languages; articles in English will be eligible for extraordinary publication.

When preparing articles for the journal, we recommend adhering to the following rules

The article must be drawn up strictly in accordance with GOST 7.5 -98 “magazines, collections of information publications, printed design of published materials” adopted by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (protocol No. 1: No. 1: 3 dated 05.28.1998, as well as bibliographic lists given in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003. “Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description adopted by the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification must comply with the general requirements and rules of execution. The sequence of design elements for printed materials is as follows

• UDC index (in accordance with the index options available in scientific libraries);
• information about authorship (last name, first name, patronymic, academic degree, degree, full name of the institution of the place of work, indicating the place of residence), the address of all authors of the publication (index of the main name);
• Name of published materials (in capital letters, bold, subparagraph 11, TC Times New Roman, Times New Roman, paragraph from the middle).

Including in english

• DOI (DPI) can be accessed for each article, – – DOI (DPI) can be obtained from the link for each article.
• TEN GOLD DIGITAL ORCID CODES FOR EACH AUTHOR. If there is no CODE, you must register on the website orcid.org, registration takes 1 minute. Screenshots are not accepted, at the beginning of the article you must indicate the author’s surname with the full ORCID IDENT and a link to the public record: orcid.org
• annotation 150-300 words (given in the text of the published material);
• keywords (italics) (number of keywords: from 3 to 10);
• the text of the article;
• List of used literature according to GOST 7.1-2003 “bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and generalization rules “(no more than 12 topics), links are placed as indicated in the text.

The list of used literature in the Kazakh language is prepared in accordance with the Latin table or the alphabet of the Kazakh language for using the link converter

• resume (if the text of the article is in Kazakh, then the resume is in Russian and English, if the text of the article is in Russian, then the resume is in Kazakh and English, if in English, then the resume is in Kazakh and Russian)
• There should be 100-300 words.
• materials are provided in printed form (1 pc.) And in electronic form, on all sides of a sheet with margins of 2.5 cm, in Word A4, Times New Roman font, size 11, with one spacing.
• graphic material must be inserted into the text and executed in a graphic editor. Drawing labels are represented by all signs. Ordinal numbered tables must have titles (tables – no more than 5, figures – no more than 5).
• The total volume of the manuscript, taking into account annotations, notes and figures and tables, should be 5-8 pages.
• The article must be signed by all authors (no more than four authors). In one issue of the journal, it is allowed to publish no more than 2 articles of one author.
• on a separate sheet, provide information about the authors (organization, position, academic degree, address, contact phone number).
• the article must be accompanied by reviews of 2 independent scientists (external and internal) who are not members of the editorial board of the journal and who conduct research in areas close to the subject of the article.
• For each article, an expert opinion on the possibility of publication is completed, approved by the Vice-Rector of HP.
• The editorial board is not engaged in literary and stylistic processing of the article. Manuscripts and disks will not be returned. Articles that violate the requirements are not accepted for publication and are returned to the authors.

• for authors of other universities – 5000 tenge.
