  • Third-party: embedded YouTube videos and the 2GIS map may set their own cookies, which are governed by those services’ own policies.

  • Job applications: the information you include in your application.
  • Electronic queue: the information needed to join the queue.
  • eUniver system: the personal account of students and staff; its data is processed only for the purposes of that system.

3. How we use data

  • to operate the Website and keep it secure;
  • to answer your questions and contact you;
  • to send the news mailing (if you have subscribed);
  • to analyse visitor statistics and improve the Website.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising purposes.

4. Sharing with third parties

Data is shared only for the purposes above and only with the following services: Yandex (Yandex Metrica), the artificial intelligence service provider (the “Ask a question” assistant), YouTube (Google) and 2GIS (embedded videos and maps). These services process data, including outside Kazakhstan, under their own privacy policies. Where required by law, data may be disclosed to authorised government bodies.

5. Retention

Data is kept until the purpose of its collection has been achieved, and no longer than required by law. News subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe. Yandex Metrica data is retained according to Yandex’s rules.

6. Managing cookies

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of Yandex Metrica entirely, you can install Yandex’s browser opt-out add-on. If necessary cookies are disabled, some features of the Website (such as remembering your language) may not work.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to request its correction or deletion, and to withdraw your consent to its processing. To do so, please write to zapkazatu@wkau.kz.

8. Data protection
